Educanopy’s Mission and Purpose

Multidisciplinary is more than a buzzword around Educanopy. We believe the more collegial cooperation there is in the delivery of services, the greater are the potential benefits to those we serve. One of our purposes is to encourage an appreciation for being a part of the big picture. No one can know everything. We can all know quite a bit. Put those bits together, and patients, students, clients, employees, consultees, and entire organizations and systems can benefit from the richness of shared perspectives. This is as true for detailed, practical, and problem-solving concerns as it is for the more visionary, intangible elements of our existence.

That is why many of our continuing education courses at Educanopy.com seem to meet the needs of more than one profession. Can scientists working in a large laboratory benefit from getting along better with their lab mates? If you are in business, you know how work satisfaction affects the bottom line. Can health care providers improve their patients’ conditions by teaching them stress management strategies? And can they remain more effective providers by practicing such good techniques themselves? One of the best ways to learn something has always been to teach it, especially teach by example. And one point further: we cannot say enough about knowing ourselves. We think everyone gets a better deal from those whose commitment to lifelong education about themselves is vigorous, and ongoing.

Join us in life-not-totally-inside-the-box. We think good communication skills and great ethics should be a given for all professionals. That would assume enough shared knowledge to actually understand lots of different people and their needs. Find courses which interest you. Find courses which relate to something or someone currently in your professional scope.

  • •  Recently, a teacher was glad we helped him connect an obese family with
       the Portion Distortion web site.
  • •  A physician thanked us for some personal direction on self-sabotage.
  • •  A young entrepreneur said what we gave her on clearing the clutter made
all the difference between giving up and celebrating her first success.

The persons in our mastermind groups, our classrooms and on our caseloads are always bringing us new questions and needs, which we either find a way to address, or know where to get referred guidance. Please let us know if you are looking for something in particular. We have a wide network of colleagues who may be able to help meet your needs.

P.S. We have so much to transfer from our old site. Look for your old favorites to appear as time permits, but meanwhile:   Ask for anything you want by emailing info@educanopy.com.
